NEW Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

From this coming autumn, we are offering a twist on the classic trek to Annapurna Sanctuary. Following Jagged Globe tradition, we have dissected the acclimatisation profile to put together the best itinerary. Our trek takes a more gradual route into the Sanctuary, via the famous viewpoint of Poon Hill, rather than the steeper New Bridge and Sinuwa approach. The trek stays in Tea Houses (lodges) throughout and will be led by an accredited Jagged Globe Sherpa leader. This is a great first trek to the Himalayas, which takes just a little over 2 weeks. It's suitable for walkers who can walk 4 - 6 hours per day with a lunch break in-between. Dates for 2011 are:

21 Oct to 6 Nov
6 - 22 Nov
