Shishapangma update
News just in from Adele Pennington, leader of our Shishapangma expedition:
"So far so good. We have been at Advance Base Camp (ABC) and above for 6 days. Everything has gone acording to plan; the weather has been kind and two days ago we reached our highest point so far - camp 1 at 6,400m. We are currently resting in ABC before, all being well, setting off tommorow via depot camp to sleep at camp 1 for the first time... more as it comes, Adele"
Jagged Globe has teams on both Shishapangma and Cho Oyu this autumn/fall season. Neal Short is leading the Cho Oyu team, who left the UK a week later than the Shishapangma group. They have just arrived in Chinese Base Camp.
